THE DAWN

In the darkness of night I was thinking of the dawn,

It is a beautiful world, where we all are like pawns,

And when I see around conceitedness,

prejudices are all I see, whilst humanity is all gone.

And in the darkness of night I was thinking of the dawn.

They say proudly they are free,

Oblivion to the captive trees,

Behind that tree the moon was glowing,

This was the night when chill wind was blowing.

Is it all about us being free?

Just to stand and look upon that captive tree.

To pity the child, who is afraid to see her mother bruises,

Benevolence, merely the word in our vocabularies.

Is there any place left today for mercy?

As what I saw was the child without jersey,

Behind him I saw a bungalow was glowing,

This was the night when chill wind was blowing,

And in the darkness of night I was thinking of the dawn.
